Since my previous journal entry is over two years old, I thought I'd change it

I've been drawing quite a bit these past months, unfortunately it's just pencil sketches and inks. And since I'd rather post fully coloured pics, I don't have much of anything to show. Still, I'll try updating a bit more often from now on.

On Anime news, I've recently watched Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. It's definitely become one of my favorites. Not only are the characters awesome (both design-wise and developpement-wise) but the animation is really nice, mostly fluid and non-repetitive like in some other mecha shows. And concerning the mecha, or rather the Ganmen, they're just cool. The fights are well-paced and the music adds to the atmosphere. Plus there's an battle near the end that's litterally of galactical proportions ^^
The opening and ending songs (especially Minna no Peace, imo) are addicting, and "Libera me from hell" is one of those songs that left me with a pretty strong impression.
To put it short, I'd suggest this anime to anyone. It's a show of disproportionate proportions that sees everything in big, and succeeds in making it work.

Game-wise I haven't played anything since The Last Remnant and Persona 4 this winter. I'm still not finished with Lost Odessey or Infinite Undiscovery, and Wild Arms V is still waiting in my PS2. But I'm looking forward to the european releases of Star Ocean 4 and especially Tales of Vesperia; I would have imported those games already if not for the zone restrictions >_<
